Biography
Nick Zambardi teaches ELR 7010: Health Care, Retirement, and Employee Benefit Plans. He graduated with a master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University in 2009 and then began his career in employee benefits with a health and welfare benefits brokerage and consulting firm where he worked with clients on all types of benefit plans. Nick currently works as a health care consultant, focusing on maximizing the efficiency of medical benefit plans. Over his career, Nick has worked with a wide range of employer clients.
Nick earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation in 2011, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation in 2014, and the Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation in 2015. He has been active with the Detroit Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists where he has held leadership roles.
